Frequently Asked Questions

  • Is tutoring provided one-on-one?

    Yes!

We prepare unique lessons and tailor instruction for each student.

  • What happens after I pay for a subscription?

Once you submit payment and your registration, you will be contacted by phone to schedule your first session.

  • Do you offer distance/online learning?

    Yes, we offer Zoom sessions.

Most virtual tutoring sessions take place with our UC. San Diego, UCLA, UC Berkeley, or our Havard team members.

  • Who are the teachers and tutors?

Our team includes credential teachers and tutors. Unlike other programs, we do NOT use high school students as tutors. We have the same rigourous hiring process as local districts, including a background check and educational requirements. All team members are trained and receive continuous professional development. Visit the "Our Staff" section of our website to meet our team!

  • Will my child be with other students during tutoring?

Our private tutoring sessions are always one-on-one, one teacher and one student.

  • What are your late, refund or cancellation policies?

Our cancellation policy: Clients must cancel sessions atleast 5 hours prior to the scheduled session, failure to cancel a session within the require time will result in the session being billed and/or deducted from the students total allocated time.

Late policy: Starting sessions on time is important. We schedule students back to back.  If a student is late, we cannot stay after our scheduled time and the entire scheduled session time will count.

Due to the nature of our services, there are NO Refunds.
