In his role Dr. Gustavo Luna leads the team at Kern Tutoring, providing training, mentorship, and professional development for educators while ensuring every student receives an exceptional education. He also collaborates with district leaders to design intervention and extended learning programs that close opportunity and achievement gaps.


Dr. Luna earned a Master’s in Education and was named Class Marshal at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. He later received the Presidential Public Service Fellowship, awarded by Harvard’s president to only 15 students. His public service includes supporting literacy initiatives within the Navajo Nation and serving as a Superintendent Fellow at Arlington Public Schools—a district of nine schools serving over 6,000 students.
